Ive called a couple of places at this point, all going into detail about how they would need to inspect it to be sure, but still being able to give me a rough estimate on pricing should I bring it to that shop. Paper and quote in hand, I set out to make sure I wasnt being taken advantage of as I recently just moved here. I was given a price quote and a detailed paper about what was to be done. I recently took my car to a shop and was told that it had a few issues. Id like to start out by saying that Im completely aware that a shop may only be able to give you a rough estimate (if that) without a mechanic doing an inspection. They even have shuttle service should you need it.Hopefully I dont have to go in very often, but I know that when I do Ill be treated with amazing customer service and my car will be in the best of hands! Happy to have found my new auto shop! They let me know of some other service that I should consider within the next x miles but it was not a pushy sales experience.Friendly and helpful service through the whole experience. Everything I 100% needed so I wouldnt find myself stranded on the side of the road was fixed within the day. They called me promptly after finding the issue and sent pictures of the items that needed fixing so I could see. Lucky for me Auto Labs was a great find!! The team there is great and I felt like I had a very honest experience with them.Went in for an oil change and asked them to take a look at a noise I was hearing. I dont know much about cars and I hate feeling like Im getting ripped off of cheated. I look for mechanics where a good amount of women have left reviews with positive feedback. I dont know many people who enjoy going to a mechanic, but Jason and his crew took every effort to make it as painless as possible and went above my expectations of customer service. He offered the use of his own personal vehicle to pick up my wife and get back to the shop. Jason had to warranty the pump, causing a slight delay in finishing. The pump was re-manufactured (as all of them are) and failed while they were getting it ready for me to take home. He isolated the problem (power steering pump leaking onto alternator, causing it to short and not keep a charge), kept me informed of pricing and the vehicle was ready one day later. I called Jason and he got me in same day to troubleshoot. A week later, the vehicle went down again while driving, same issue. He made it clear that I should call if anything happened. Instead of throwing parts at the vehicle in hopes it would work, he and his crew fixed what they knew was wrong. He was very up front with pricing and indicated he couldnt get a 100% clear answer for the problem after doing some diagnostics. Jason made it clear he was about 5 days out, but was happy to have the vehicle towed to Autolab.
